Tuition

  • Tuition in full is due 5 days prior to your child’s start date. If you have a scholarship, present a copy of the letter and sign a waiver for the preschool to contact that agency to confirm the payment terms. As a cozy private school we are unable to recant contracts with our teaching professionals; therefore, prorating of tuition for vacation, sick days, late starts or middle of month withdrawals is not possible.  All tuition is required to be paid in advance (3) three days before the start of the new month. If tuition is not paid by 1st day of the month (2 days grace) a $40 weekly fee will be assessed, until the balance is paid. Tuition is non-refundable but tax deductible.   * * * Military Discount of $100 off tuition per month from the Full, School and Part Day Programs are allowed with a contract till July 22, 2012.

Fees and Cost

  • Application fee is $20.00 is due upon receipt of your application and is non-refundable. The fee covers the interview and application process. Website payments are accepted or checks, no cash.
  • Comprehensive fee of $180.00 is a non-refundable fee for instructional materials, workbooks and literacy enhancement books. A letter of acceptance to Ewa Plains will be given when this fee is paid. Website payments will be accepted, no cash or checks.
  • Withdrawal fee is $300 and refundable in the August at the end of the annual contract. This fee can be paid monthly in increments of $75 with the agreement to pay $50 a month through our website (no cash or checks as it is too much to track).
  • Late pick up fee is $10 for anyone who arrives after their contract end time and additional $1 per minute after the first 15 minutes have passed. The capacity of the classroom and staff regulations is 12 children to one teacher by law. Please notify all people who pick up your child of your obligations to your contract. You are welcome to reserved extended care three days prior to your schedule change for a rate of $10 per day. Please attach the check to the note with the dates and contact information.
  • Bad Check fee of $25 for all returned checks will be charged. Cash payments may be required for future transactions and will be stated in writing by the administrator. Otherwise please pay this fee on our school website.
  • Uniforms are $8.50 per shirt or three (3) shirts for $21.00. Uniforms are worn to allow your child the chance to get dirty and play hard without restrictions.  Crocks and slippers for footwear are recommended. Free dress Fridays, allow your child the chance to reflect his or her personality. Uniforms are purchased in the first week of school and worn 30 days after the start of the program. We enjoy teaching the children the meaning of the uniform before requiring children to wear it. Terms of the school enrollment require uniforms to be worn.
  • Field trips cost on average $10 -$20 a month and cover chaperone’s admissions, bus and entrance fees. All staff attend excursions; therefore, you must find alternate care if you do not want your child at the event. If you are late for the trip, we will do our best to be available by phone. Please forgive us, if we are not able to answer our cell phone once we leave the property. The care of the children off site becomes our focus. Grandparents, parents and ohana are welcome to join us, please submit a TB clearance in compliance of the law.
  • Lunch program is not provided at this time. The cost of the Lunch Bunch Service is $80.40 a month or about 4.10 per day. Families often express their desire to do hui lunches weekly. Please look out for information from other parents who are interested in pooling hot lunches and weekly. This is separate from the school and assumed at your own risk.  We will provide literature for healthy dietary meals.  We also provide (2) two microwave ovens and staff are assigned to assisting with warming food up. Do not send siamin or mac and cheese to cook. Everything must be prepared in advance, and we will warm it up.
  • Snack must be provided by your family. Please pack and prepare two healthy snacks per day.  A snack composes of two food group components. Snacks are served at 9:30 and 1:30 daily. Children eat salads, blueberries, kiwi, yogurt, cheese sticks- amazingly healthy and very individualized. See handbook and enrollment packets for literature.

How do I enroll? Complete the application and pay the $20.00 fee to secure your application date (as it is first come first serve on the waitlist). Pay your comprehensive fee of $180.00 and receive a letter of acceptance and estimated start date. Complete the TB clearance, Form-14, Emergency and Consent to Treat formS and scholarship letter or tuition payment and your child can start in the next open slot.
